Building control surveyor

Senior Building Control Surveyor Location: Central London/Hybrid Rate: GBP431.84 per day umbrella A central London Local Authority is seeking an interim Senior Building Surveyor. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in building control, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ensuring compliance with building regulations. Responsibilities: Review plans for a diverse range of construction projects. Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations. Provide Building Control advice through various channels (phone, email, in person). Inspect dangerous structures during regular working hours. Participate in the out-of-hours dangerous structures rota. Maintain accurate records of inspections and correspondence. Support the training of Trainee and Assistant Surveyors. Assist the Principal Surveyor and Head of Building Control with additional team duties. Required Skills: Degree in construction or equivalent qualification, preferably with a Band C Building Control Surveyor Registration (BSR) qualification. Full corporate membership status with a recognized professional body such as RICS, CABE, or CIOB. Minimum of seven years #39; experience in Building Control
