Production planner

Production PlannIng Manager role, Wellingborough based client, Hybrid working up to GBP40,000 Basic Salary DOE Monday to Friday working. A good range of employee benefits available We are looking for a Production PlannIng Manager to join our client who are a leading player within the dry food industry. This can be a Hybrid role once a settling in period has been achieved. Paying a Salary of up to GBP40,000 Working Monday to Friday ( no weekends) 8:30-17:00, 31 days holiday, health cash plan, gym membership, pension scheme and possible Hybrid working after qualifying period. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager with responsibility for production planning of finished and semi-finished goods and a dealing with stock replenishment. The production planner will be responsible for building strong relationships internall and external. #xF0B7;Closely working with Demand Planner/ Supply Chain Manager to ensure accurate forecasts are received and challenged where appropriate. #xF0B7;To ensure that daily and weekly plans are determined and issued in a timely manner to the relevant areas. #xF0B7;Securing of material substitutions where necessary #xF0B7;Request for concessions where required. #xF0B7;Request for life extensions where required. #xF0B7;Request for raw materials where required. #xF0B7;Run monthly capacity and labour analysis to highlight potential medium to long term constraints . #xF0B7;Responsible for generating daily/weekly labour plans that improve efficiency, minimise cost (yield loss) and satisfy customer demand. #xF0B7;On-going monitoring of finished goods and raw material stocks #xF0B7;Ensure data information is correct for both imported and manufactured goods. #xF0B7;Regular communication with Customer Services highlighting any potential service issues in the short and medium term, #xF0B7;Be responsible for all stock management and replenishment of the warehouse. #xF0B7;Regular reporting of KPI #39;s #xF0B7;Compliance with health and safety, data protection, food safety and quality. #xF0B7;Have a strong customer service ethos and have the desire to exceed customer expectations. #xF0B7;Operate as an effective member of the supply chain team to help one another push the boundaries of business performance. To be considered for this role you will have previously worked in a planning position within a manufacturing /FMCG or supply chain environment. .
