CNC Miller Salary: Circa GBP15.50 per hour Location: Nottinghamshire Job Type: Permanent What does the role involve? EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a reputable engineering company located in Nottinghamshire which is a globally recognised, market-leading precision engineering/manufacturing business that supports world-renowned industry leaders. Due to our client #39;s increased workload, they are looking to expand their Machining Division and are therefore looking for skilled CNC Machinists to join their growing team and support projects for both new and existing customers. This is a great opportunity for a CNC Machinist worker who is looking to utilize their skills and grow in a company that specialises in the manufacture of complex, detailed components for predominantly the aerospace and defense markets. With multiple locations across the UK, this current opportunity lies within their Nottingham site where you will be working alongside a multitude of talented engineers in a modern, up-to-date environment. What experience do you need? * Strong precision engineering background * Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Machinist - Milling * Experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC machines * Experience working with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or Siemens control panels * Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil and gas etc * Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium * Experience with machining to tight tolerances * Confident working with small to medium-sized components * Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings What do you get? * Hourly rate: GBP15.50 per hour depending on experience * Excellent shift allowances * A variety of shift patterns are available; Days and continentals * Overtime is available at premium rates (x1.5 after 39 hours and x2 on Sundays) * Holidays * Pension * Sick pay * Quarterly bonus * X2 Death in service * Annual salary reviews - Opportunity to earn up to 5% extra * Salary Sacrifice Car Scheme * Cycle to work scheme * Free car parking * Modern working environment * Opportunity to develop and progress internally in a growing, forward-thinking business About us EMBS Engineering is a dedicated talent specialist that partners with some of the UK #39;s most prestigious, advanced, precision engineering companies within the Aerospace, Automotive / Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil Gas, Green, Environmental and FMCG industries.
