Part time estimator

A building and construction client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a Part-time Estimator to join their small office-based team of 4. This position is seeking someone for 2 full days (ideally Mondays/Tuesdays) working 8.00am - 4.00pm with a 30-minute break and is paying GBP15,000 - GBP20,000 per annum (GBP38,000 - GBP50,000 pro rata) depending on previous skills and extensive experience. Key Duties for this Part-Time Estimator will include but are not limited to: Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done. Pay scaffolders labour costs on measured work done. Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients. Read from drawings plans to develop cost estimates on labour.Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Part-time Estimator position: Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets (Excel). Ability to read drawings and plans and develop cost estimates on labour. Experience in building client relationships. 5+ years previous experience working in an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor or similar role required.
