Senior Quantity Surveyor GBP62k - GBP75k Car Allowance + Benefits Package North West My Client are a Tier 1 Main Contractor that operate throughout the UK on a range of major projects across varied sectors: High-Rise Living, Commercial, Healthcare, Student Accommodation, Pharma etc. They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a the North West Division working on Projects GBP40m - GBP100m. Purpose of the role The initial project will be a GBP120m Mixed Use development in Manchester. Reporting to the Commercial Lead, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in the delivery of this high profile scheme with key responsibilities including: Duties: bull; Ownership of several large packages up to GBP10m in value bull; Contract negotiation ndash; scrutinising terms conditions of contracts bull; Cost reporting to be completed by the commercial lead, however regular updates to be reported on bull; Cost advice and input into value engineering bull; Liaison with sub-contractors bull; Issue payments bull; Mentoring of junior members of the team Ideal Candidate bull; The ideal candidate will have a track-record of delivering high-rise city centre builds from inception to completion up to GBP50m bull; A Confident decision maker who is able to take ownership of workload bull; Knowledge of JCT contract advantageous bull; Experience of 4Projects would also be of benefit but not essential bull; Other project experience including Healthcare, Student Accommodation or Data Centres would be of interest bull; UK Driving License For full details of the role please click the link to apply or contact me on (phone number removed) or forward your CV in confidence to (url removed)
