Internal Sales Engineer Employment type: Permanent Hours/Duration: 39 hours per week, Monday-Friday Location: Abingdon Salary: Circa GBP45,000 per annum + 22 Days Holiday + Bonus Position / Company We are delighted to partner a world-renowned leader in the manufacture of Mechanical Electronic Drive Technology for industries such as FMCG and Material Handling. They are looking for a motivated and successful Internal Sales Engineer to join their team. As the Internal Sales Engineer your main responsibility will be to serve as the primary liaison for UK customers, delivering personalised customer service, technical support, and sales solutions tailored to each customer #39;s unique needs. You will also play a leading role in offering technical and commercial support to enhance the capabilities of the external sales team. You will be fully supported with a customised training program, which will be developed to include both product and sales training, adapted to your specific requirements. Example of Responsibilities: Develop and expand sales with existing and new customers by providing technically sound and cost-effective drive solutions tailored to their needs. Respond to customer inquiries via telephone. Select the appropriate product based on customer-provided information. Generate quotations and reports for customers as needed. Utilise company business systems and procedures, maintaining a record of customer interactions through the CRM system. Provide technical and commercial assistance to the external sales team.Skills/Experience: Proficient telephone etiquette. Ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team. Hold a Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering related qualification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience in technical sales is advantageous.
