Learning support assistant

GSL Education are currently working with a Primary School based in Southampton who are seeking full-time Learning Support Assistants to work 1-1 and in small groups with primary pupils. The school has great facilities close to public transport, the school rsquo;s focus is to give a nurturing approach to learning whilst making learning fun. This friendly school currently has an Ofsted report rated lsquo;Good rsquo;. The role is due to start ASAP for the right individual. Successful applicants will support Class Teachers, ensuring pupils are interacting in the lessons, supporting the children #39;s needs, and encouraging their learning. Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential. To be successful you must be able to: Communicate clearly with Teachers and young individuals Create an encouraging learning environment for pupils Be understanding and caring Carry out tasks involving a computer or hand-device Remain calm during stressful situations Work on different activities conducted inside and outside school premises Requirements: Must be a patient and reliable Be able to work well in a team Be proactive in meeting student #39;s needs Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the well-being of students The Role: Location: Southampton Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full Time We have multiple vacancies currently, if this role is not for you then get in touch today about how we can help you!
