Fire alarm engineer

Recruiting Fire and Security service installation engineers!! You #39;ll focus on the installation of fire alarms (Part 1 and Part 6), CCTV Access Control installations, as well as planned maintenance and servicing. Will include repairing safety systems to ensure compliance, whilst facilitating health safety procedures. Terms: * GBP250 to GBP300 per day (dependant on experience etc) * 8 hour shifts, Mon to Fri * Out of hours/overtime to be agreed as and when * Possible van supplied after a few months Overview: * To service, maintain and install fire alarms, security systems and emergency lighting systems in accordance with the relevant British Standards. * To be able to install and troubleshoot remote monitoring devices. * Correctly complete engineer service reports. * Report on and maintain emergency lighting systems and other associated equipment such as AOV #39;s. * Have a health safety mindset, observing possible risk associated with each premises and reporting issues promptly. * Completing a first time fix wherever possible. Ideal requirements: * Full UK Driving license * Previous fire alarm experience/security system experience * City Guilds or FIA training (or equivalent required) * A good understanding of the British Standards, in particular BS5839 * An understanding of health safety regulations * A good level of IT literacy and written communication * Own reliable transport and necessary tools/equipment Areas: Kent, Sussex, Surrey and parts of London (travel paid) as well as any additional training where required.
