Your Role: As a Senior Support Worker, you #39;ll play a crucial role in establishing a nurturing and secure environment for children facing emotional and behavioural challenges. Your responsibilities will include: middot;Working closely with the registered manager to ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere for children in care. middot;Utilizing your relevant qualifications and prior experience to deliver tailored care to children with diverse needs. middot;Motivating, nurturing, and empowering children to reach their full potential within a residential care setting. middot;Providing emotional support and guidance to children facing behavioural and emotional challenges. middot;Facilitating activities and interventions aimed at promoting the well-being and development of children in care. middot;Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create individualised care plans and strategies. Requirements: middot;NVQ Level 3 in Children #39;s Residential or equivalent. middot;Due to the location, a full UK driving license and access to your own car. middot;Proven experience working in a children #39;s residential environment. middot;Ability to effectively communicate and engage with children of diverse backgrounds and needs. middot;Strong behaviour management skills and a thorough understanding of safeguarding principles. middot;Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach towards supporting children with emotional and behavioural disorders.
