Deputy manager children 39;s residential

Atrium Healthcare is currently recruiting on behalf of a client for the position of Deputy Manager to assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a children #39;s home. This role involves ensuring clear and effective procedures for monitoring and controlling home activities, maintaining financial viability, managing serious incidents or complaints, and upholding the quality of care provided. Responsibilities: middot;Facilitate the day-to-day management, monitoring, and supervision of staff in a professional manner. middot;Promote professionalism and standards among the team in accordance with policies and procedures. middot;Deploy staff on duty effectively to ensure smooth operation of the unit. middot;Participate in informative and productive staff meetings, ensuring actions are documented. middot;Contribute to staff induction processes. middot;Report any malpractice or suspicions to appropriate management or regulatory bodies. Requirements: middot;Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent). middot;Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). middot;Full UK Driving License. Experience: middot;Experience in child protection and supervising staff. middot;Ideally, at least 3 years of experience working with children and young people. middot;Minimum of 1 year #39;s experience in a senior role with children and young people (essential).
