Motor transport team leader

Our client has an opportunity for a Motor Transport Team Leader to join them on a permanent basis. You can play your part as a Motor Transport Team Leader at our clients RAF Halton site, you will be tasked with the efficient running of Motor Transport Control. Role: Motor Transport Team Leader Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire Hours: Full time / Permanent Salary: Discussed Upon Application Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS clearance. Responsibilities: The vehicle routing and the co-ordination of journeys. The upkeep of vehicle car passes and the Eric fuel key system. Ensuring drivers are fully briefed of their task. i.e., pick up points in/out of scope. Ensuring vehicles are fully serviceable before use. Recording any vehicle faults in the fault register. Skills / Experience: Demonstrable operational experience in a similar environment. Demonstrates that they are Articulate in oral and written communication. Demonstrates a high level of Excel and Word skills.Qualifications for the Survival Equipment Supervisor: Appropriately qualified and experienced in Transport operations. Required to pass the MoD DJTO (Defence Junior Transport Officer) Course. Required to meet the driving standards for operating LGV PSV vehicles, Driver CPC, including holding a Digital Tachograph Card.
