IT Support Technician (1st Line Support / Helpdesk) Gloucester GBP25,000 to GBP27,000 + Contributory Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Group Life Assurance + Income Protection + Training and Development + Private Medical Insurance (After Probation) 9/10 Day Working Per Fortnight (Week 1 Monday to Friday, Week 2 Monday to Thursday) ndash; Start Time Between 07.45 to 8.45, Finish 16:30 to 17:30 IT Support Technician required to provide 1st line support within an industry leading supplier of manufacturing machinery with a reputation of global excellence. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company during an exciting period of growth. This role would suit candidates either with industry experience providing IT support and/or an IT graduate (or equivalent). Reporting into the company rsquo;s IT Manager, the successful candidate will work within a small team of three where you will contribute to the support and enhancement of the company rsquo;s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and availability of IT systems. The IT Technician Role: middot; Dealing with all of the 1st line issues within the business middot; Provisioning, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting end-user hardware, operating systems, and client software. middot; Managing and supporting IT infrastructure equipment, including physical and virtual servers, storage arrays, network switches, firewalls, wireless access points, phone systems, mobile devices, and other necessary equipment. middot; Responding to technical support calls middot; Test disaster recovery procedures The IT Technician Candidate: middot; Experience of providing 1st line IT support and/or an IT graduate (or equivalent)
