Senior quantity surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a prestigious high end residential project in Mayfair. This project is at the fit out stage, so it is essential that you have experience in high spec residential projects. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. Responsibilities: - Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects - Conduct risk analysis evaluations - Manage project finances and contractual relationships - Monitor and track project progress in terms of costs and budgets - Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure projects are completed within budget - Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes Requirements: - Bachelor #39;s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field - Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor ideally in Residential projects - In-depth knowledge and experience with JCT contracts and NEC contracts - Proven experience having had procurement involvement with sub-contractors and suppliers - Ideally will have had experience doing extension of time claims - Any supervising/mentoring of junior staff experience is desirable - Proficiency in cost control techniques - Excellent communication and negotiation skills
