Mechanical design engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing client based just outside of Halesowen. This could suit a junior candidate with 1 to 2 years #39; experience or someone with more experience looking for a new challenge. The ideal candidate will have experience designing in a heavy industrial environment including industry sectors such as; steel fabrication, mining, quarrying, heavy structural, combustion, hydraulic/ pneumatic systems, furnace or similar background. *Some flexibility on Hybrid Working after Probation* *Full training provided on products* Key Responsibilities: Designing heavy steel fabricated products from concept to completion Any knowledge of FEA or Stress Analysis would be beneficial Design projects with a strong time and budget awareness and liaise with other designers to turn visions into project reality Key Attributes: 3D and 2D experience using Inventor and AutoCAD. Other CAD packages will be considered FEA and Load calculation experience would be beneficial but not essential Self-sufficient and able to communicate with customers/ clients effectively
