You will join our successful quality team as part of our regional food safety function. Do you thrive from a challenge? As a quality leader the main duties are to effectively manage the Quality Technicians and the Quality Operators to control monitor food safety, product quality and GMP compliance. You rsquo;ll already have a wealth of experience in the quality environment for a successful and fast-paced FMCG business, so we don rsquo;t want to spell it out too much. But in a nutshell, you will hellip; bull; Support the Quality Manager in setting clear objectives and personal development plans for the Quality Technicians Operators bull; Adhere to line management duties, e.g. absence etc. bull; Be an ambassador for our independent process and product checks bull; Confirm the sites adherence to customer standards through auditing of product and operational processes against customer codes of practice bull; Understand the site traceability system in order to complete audits, demonstrate compliance and retrieve information for investigation purposes bull; Auditing compliance against Quality Management Systems, GMP and HACCP controls bull; Calibration of measurement equipment in accordance with schedules and procedures bull; Collaborate with the line manager to coordinate day to day activities to deliver improvement of Technical KPIs bull; Drive quality assurance spot check to ensure that the product is being packaged correctly against legal and customer requirements bull; Support the QA function in completing raw material assessments, sensory assessments, restricted stock reviews and new product development activities bull; Deputising for the Quality Manager WHAT WE rsquo;RE LOOKING FOR hellip;. Our ideal candidate will be someone with proven experience working within an FMCG quality team and will have worked in a similar role with a basic knowledge of technical requirements and Quality Food safety. You will also have hellip; bull; Knowledge of Quality Technical systems bull; External standards, BRC, customer, legal requirements bull; Knowledge of HACCP bull; Strong interpersonal skills, build strong customer and internal relationships bull; Proficient PC Skills bull; Excellent communication skills, both oral and written bull; Demonstrable problem-solving ability bull; Resilience, be able to bounce back even on those tough days bull; Accountability to meet commitments bull; Have the capability to influence people on shift and articulate why bull; Ability to work autonomously and use initiative, whilst being part of a team bull; And a positive attitude to continued learning bull; Level 4 HACCP Level 4 Food Safety (desirable) Although we #39;ve outlined our preferred qualifications for this position, we understand that the perfect candidate might not tick every box listed here. WHERE YOU rsquo;LL WORK hellip; You rsquo;ll be based at our Scarborough plant in North Yorkshire. We opened this plant back in the swinging sixties, but it rsquo;s definitely not stuck in the past. It rsquo;s one of the largest French fry factories in the world and after a recent development, it rsquo;s also one of the most high tech.
