MAINTENANCE MANAGER STOKE-ON-TRENT GBP57,000 MONDAY - FRIDAY This is a perfect opportunity for a natural leader to help develop and motivate a team of Engineers. This is a very much more of an office based role, working closely with Engineering Team leaders, and the Engineering Planner to develop the Maintenance department, carrying out a number of projects. You will be a key member of the site Management team, and you will have a proven track record of Management and a keen eye for continuous improvement. Role Responsibilities Provide leadership, development and motivation to the engineering team daily Improving process, procedures, streamlining work, health safety, quality, legal compliance requirements (COSHH, HACCP) Work closely with the engineering planner to improve PPM plans KPi performance management Staff training, creating development plans, grievances, disciplinaries Provide technical maintenance expertise when needed Asset care management for the maintenance department Required Skills Experience Must be a strong man-manager / leader Ideally be working as a maintenance manager, or consider someone that wants to take a step-up in role - but must show strong leadership qualities Happy working and managing in a fast-paced environment, high pressure, regulated food industry Ideally trained as an electrical biased engineer - but open on mechanical too Worked on CI projects, process improvement, lean manufacturing implementation Managed Health Safety, COSHH HACCP, legal requirements for engineering Effective and open communication skills, able to train, discipline when needed, listen and develop peopleTo apply please email your CV / resume to (url removed) or call for a confidential discussion on 017(phone number removed).
