Fitter

We are seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with power tools, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with hand tools. If you have a passion for assembling and working in a manufacturing environment, we would like to hear from you. Hours; Monday to Friday 7.45 until 16.15 (early finish Fridays!) Payrates; GBP13.00-GBP14.00 depending on experience Responsibilities: - Assemble components using hand and power tools - Read and interpret blueprints or diagrams to determine measurements and specifications - Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals Experience: - Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role preferred - Proficiency with power tools and hand tools - Mechanical knowledge to understand assembly processes - Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting Facilities and Benefits: - Hassle free parking facilities on site - FLT training can we completed on site if you would like to do it. - You will have a 10-minute break at 10am and then a 30-minute break at 1pm - Free tea and coffee to enjoy on your break. - Activities to do on your break such as play Xbox or play football. - If it is something you would like, everyone gets together after work on a Friday and go to the pub. - Every month, the site brings in a food van for the workers choice for 1 hour and 30 minutes for a free meal paid by site.
