Title: Landscaping Operations Manager Salary: GBP70,000 - GBP90,000 + LTIP (Profit based incentive scheme) Industry: Landscaping - Essential to have this industry experience Location: Dartford Type: Permanent A fantastic opportunity to work as an Operations Manager has come up at a dynamic landscaping company. Based out of Dartford this position is the head up the current Operations function. You will be responsible for managing through an excellent team of contract and project managers who are themselves responsible for an approx. team of 100. As part of the Senior Leadership Team you will be expected to be involved in strategic decision making and be comfortable reporting to the board. Responsibilities Participate as a member of the Management Team in formulating and executing Operational strategies, plans and budgets to ensure corporate goals are achieved Lead, coach and mentor the Operations Teams ensuring high performance Manage the performance and accountability of the Project/Contracts Managers Team, ensuring regular review and feedback meetings take place Overview whole project schedule to provide workflow continuity and consistency Assign new contracts to the best suited Project/Contract Manager for effective delivery Provide strategic advice and support to overcome project challenges and client disputes Oversee training and development of the Operations team, promoting continuous development Manage the recruitment process for employed and contracted resource within operations department to ensure optimum manpower at all times minimising downtime Oversee efficient and effective day-today labour schedules and resource management Manage the operational department in accordance with Company #39;s Health Safety, Compliance and Quality policies Uphold a high standard of Health Safety compliance throughout the organisationExperience/Skills Knowledge in landscaping industry - Essential Strong management skills with ability to grow strong collaborative relationships with strong personalities in order to drive results Experience in resource planning for both planned and reactive maintenance - Essential Experience with operational systems, H S, and ISO - Essential Would accept applications from backgrounds such as Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Director, Deputy Operations Director, Senior Operations Manager
