Machine shop foreman

The company has a busy working environment which attracts a vast number of large and small enquires from single bespoke joinery products to complete turnkey projects. The candidate will join the production management team and become part of an expanding company with very bright prospects. Roles Responsibilities The detail of duties below are by no means exhaustive and are to give an overview of the position and existing systems and protocol within the Company. The role would require the candidate to work within a tight knit team and being a team player is essential. The contracted hours are 39 hours per week and you will be required to work any additional hours to fulfil your duties. To manage a small team on a daily basis ndash; Allocating jobs to other employees giving assistance where necessary. Identify issues arising within the department and the company in general Be able to work on cnc machines, edge banders, beam saws, and traditional machinery. Be able to work from cad drawings and cutting lists. Report any production related problems to management team. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: GBP14.50-GBP16.00 per hour Expected hours: 39 ndash; 45 per week
