Permanent contract with A Local Authority Job Summary: middot; To lead, plan, develop and deliver an expert professional service within the Quality Assurance Service. middot; To support the development, management, and delivery of an independent reviewing service to children looked after and their families. middot; To build and maintain relationships with key partners to improve outcomes for children. To ensure the Council maximises service outcomes in relation to cost. Key Duties/Accountabilities: middot; Plan and ensure service delivery within a complex / diverse service area. Control operational activities within the service area and ensure professional standards are delivered. middot; Management of the children looked after process and quality assurance of care planning and safeguarding of children and young people in care. middot; The involvement of children and families as well as the people that support them. middot; To provide professional leadership for staff within children rsquo;s social care. middot; Make positive contributions to training, practice development and awareness of permanence and care planning issues. Essential Experience Required: middot; Experience of managing and supervising complex children and family rsquo;s social work. middot; Experience of writing complex children and family rsquo;s assessments and care plans. middot; Experience of presenting information and reports to senior leadership team. Essential Qualifications Required: middot; Registration with Social Work England. middot; CQSW, DIPSW, CSS. middot; Accreditation as Social Work Practice Educator or Assessor. middot; Use of relevant in-service or post qualification training, particularly related to children who are looked after and Information Technology courses.
