Head of Communications GBP120,000 - GBP160,000 Full time - Permanent - Hybrid working City of London Is this the role for you: Are you seeking an exciting opportunity as a Head of Communications within a dynamic financial services firm? If so, we have a fantastic permanent full-time position available in the London office. What you will do: Play a crucial role in enhancing the firm #39;s external visibility and maintaining effective communications. Manage external communications, ensuring consistency of messaging and alignment with company objectives. Act as a key point of contact for media inquiries and coordinate timely responses. Cultivate relationships with journalists and secure media coverage. Coordinate and oversee firm-hosted/sponsored events to maximize visibility and engagement. Collaborate closely with leadership to align communication efforts with overall business strategy. Oversee the production of marketing materials, including presentations, press releases, and managing website and social media content.What you will need: Strong English language skills, both verbal and written. Experience in managing external communications in a dynamic environment. Excellent relationship-building skills, especially with media. Ability to thrive in a global role, coordinating across different offices. Flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse tasks and priorities. Proactive with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality. Familiarity with the financial services industry and quantitative research preferred. Experience with event management and sponsorship coordination preferred.
