Salary from GBP25K * Location: Gosfield, Nr. Braintree, Essex * Permanent: 40 hours per week * Working: Hours: 7.30 until 16.30 Mon to Thurs ndash; 07.30 until 13.30 Friday. * Potential earnings (with overtime) of GBP30K per annum. * Own transport essential due to location * Starting hourly rate depending on experience MECHANICAL FITTER Our client, a heavy engineering company are looking to recruit Mechanical Fitter. Based near Braintree in Essex, their purpose-built facilities are powered by renewable energy. OVERVIEW OF ROLE Working within a team of 3-4, the Mechanical Fitter will work as a team by carrying out the full build of a trailer, including installation of all parts required. THE ROLE * Fitting of mechanical hydraulics and pneumatics, electrics, brake systems and installation of moving vehicle decks into our new build car transporters. SKILLS REQUIRED * Good spanner skills and knowledge of spanner sizes * Basic electrical knowledge * Knowledge of pneumatics * Knowledge of hydraulics * Previous experience with overhead crane usage would be an advantage. * A keen eye for quality * Ability to work well as part of a team.
