Maths Teacher Needed - September 2024 Start Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and dedicated Maths Teacher, to start in September. The ideal candidate: middot; Has a proven History to secure excellent pupil results in Maths GCSE exams middot; Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment middot; Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils middot; Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS middot; QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (to be offered supply teaching work) middot; Previous experience working in a UK school would be ideal middot; Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: middot; Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks middot; Hold Right to Work in the UK middot; Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application middot; Provide two professional child related references CONTRACT DETAILS Location - Kingstron, West London Position - Maths Teacher Contract or position start date - September 2024 Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - perm Full time/part time - Full time Hours - 8:00 am - 4pm, plus parents evenings EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS or equivalent Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK (Desirable) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year Please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
