Mechanical shift engineer

Job title: Mechanical Building Services Shift Engineer Location: Static Site located in Lewisham. Terms: Permanent contract, 4 on 4 off (7:00am to 7:00pm) Salary/rate: Salary is paying GBP45,205 depending on qualifications and experience. Requirements: Mechanical Qualifications needed consist of the below - * Must hold a recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant Mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience, plumbing experience essential. * Experience in building services (Required) * Competent Person L8 experience; Asbestos Awareness; Fire Alarm Testing knowledge (Desirable) About the company: I am working with an international facilities management company who operate in 25 different countries and employ over 13,500 people. About the role: We are looking to take on board a strong Mechanical Building Services Engineer to be based on a Healthcare Site in South East London. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Engineer to join the team and progress throughout the company liaising all day-to-day duties with the Site Supervisor. Responsibilities: * To provide technical engineering support for Hard FM Services and carry out preventative maintenance to deadlines plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities * To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPI #39;s. * To manage Contractors as necessary * Working 4 on 4 off, 42 hours per week from 7am-7pm, days only. Candidate requirements: * Willingness to attain cross skilling and to undertake training and qualify as an Authorised Person as required. * Excellent customer service and communication skills; IT Literate * Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills. * Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems. * Experience in a Healthcare environment is advantageous. * In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety procedures, formal training an advantage To find out more information regarding this opportunity.
