As an Unqualified Secondary Classroom Assistant, you will be there to provide support to the lead teacher throughout the lesson, assisting with the preparing and distributing of materials etc. You will also be responsible for supporting the needs of the students and those with SEN, holding 1:1 or group sessions to provide focus on the work they have set out and tailor the learning process to ensure it meets their needs. This role is perfect for individuals who are looking to gain valuable experience in the classroom before going on to become a fully qualified teacher through PGCE or Teach First routes.
