An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant in the Transport Distribution sector, based in Birmingham, to provide managerial accounting support within a busy finance department. Description The Management Accountant will be; Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting processes Managing financial audits and liaising with external auditors Maintaining a robust financial control environment Analysing financial data and providing insightful business recommendations Supporting the development and implementation of financial systems Managing and mentoring members of the finance team Participating in cross-functional projects within the organisationProfile A successful Management Accountant should have: A professional accounting part-qualified or qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting skills Proven ability to manage and mentor a team Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide insightful business recommendations Experience with financial systems development and implementationJob Offer An estimated hourly rate of GBP24.73 - GBP28.33 Temporary to permanent 35 hours per week, flexible working hours Opportunity to work within a leading Transport Distribution company Professional and supportive work environment Temporary role with potential for permanency Valuable industry and role exposureThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant in Birmingham to take the next step in their career
