Shift electrician

We have a permanent shift Electrician role available within TATA Steel rsquo;s Corby site. The successful applicant will be working with a multi skilled team and be responsible for conducting PPM activity alongside reactive maintenance activity. Role: Shift Electrician Location: TATA Steel, Weldon Rd, Corby NN17 5UA Salary: GBP31,982 plus 15% shift premium (Total GBP36,779 rising to GBP37,586 following successful completion of probation period) Shift Patterns: 15 shift pattern of 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday. You rsquo;ll work a week of days 7am-3pm, a week of backs 3pm-11pm and a week of nights 11pm-7am. Start: ASAP (pending medical) Responsibilities: * Conducting planned preventative maintenance * Maintaining maximum efficiency of machinery * Troubleshooting relay control circuits * Recording preventative, corrective, breakdown and shutdown maintenance accordingly * Interpreting electrical drawings * Identifying and implementing improvement activity * Adhering to high levels of Health and Safety at all times Essential Requirements: * Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 Electrical (NVQ, ONC, BTEC or equivalent) * Experience with low voltage electrical systems, drives and PLC rsquo;s * Ability to fault find and conduct root cause analysis on electrical systems * Experience working alongside multi skilled engineers * Ability to work independently and on own initiative * Good IT literacy skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills Desirable Requirements: * Driving licence and use of a car * Knowledge of SAP PM Benefits: Advice and editing on your current CV Paid holiday of 35 days per annum Annual pay review Annual bonus scheme (subject to performance) Free onsite parking Employee assistance programme for wellbeing support Exclusive online services including restaurant and retail discounts 10% employer contribution pension scheme against 6% employee contribution Does this role sound interesting?
