Software Test Engineer ndash; Southampton - GBP40k - GBP45k Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a world renowned Electronics manufacturer based in Southampton who are now seeking a Software Test Engineer to help Test and deploy a range of precision Electronic devices. The company are recognised globally, and are expanding because of a healthy order book. The company are now seeking a Software Test Engineer to run Manual and Automated testing for a range of new and existing products. This is a Software Test role focusing on Embedded device testing. Due to the nature of the work, this will be a mostly onsite role with occasional remote working. Key Requirements: * Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer science, Maths, Physics or similar * 2+ years commercial Test experience for non web projects (Desktop, Embedded, Systems etc) * Good experience working with version control tools * Experience using C/C++ or Python for building scripts The company are looking to offer circa GBP45k along with an excellent benefits package.
