Managing Quantity Surveyor role and responsibilities Our client is looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor with experience of major construction projects . The company is one of the largest contractors in the region with a regional turnover in excess of GBP100 Million. The Managing Quantity Surveyor opportunity is for their construction division who undertake a broad range of projects, predominantly Design Build with project values between GBP5 Million and GBP30 Million. The Managing Quantity Surveyor position will report to the Commercial Manager and managing a team of Quantity Surveyors. Working on all commercial aspects of the projects including: * Use of company systems and processes and applying best practice * Subcontractor procurement from enquiry to order placement * Manage subcontractor accounts from commencement or works through to negotiation and settlement of final account * Prepare timely submission to client for payments * Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation reports * Liaise with and develop supplier and subcontractor relationships * Manage risk throughout the project lifecycle * Liaise with and develop client relationships * Work closely with the Project Manager and operations teams * Prepare all final accounts The company Since becoming established the company has grown consistently in recent years with future growth plans meaning excellent opportunities for career progression.
