As the Lead Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning and supporting students #39; academic progress. Responsibilities: Take a lead role within the cover team, ensuring effective deployment and coordination of cover supervisors and supply teachers. Provide cover for absent teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement cover policies and procedures. Support and mentor cover supervisors, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality provision. Liaise with teaching staff, ensuring the smooth running of lessons and maintaining effective communication. Monitor student behaviour and engagement during cover lessons, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment. Requirements: Experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role within a school setting. Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate cover provision effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff and students. Confidence in delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups. Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing schedules and cover requirements. A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students #39; learning and development.
