Semh teaching assistant

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a permanent position in a school in Redruth. The current need is for a Teaching Assistant who will work 1:1 with pupils with SEMH needs. About the role: -Full time ndash; Term time only. Monday - Thurday 8:30-15:00 and Friday 08:30 - 15:30 -Permanent after a successful probation period -Working with children with SEMH needs - primary and secondary ages -Teaching Assistant working 1:1 or 2:1 This school is located in Redruth and supports students from EYFS ndash; Year 11. All of the students have SEMH needs and so they require a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. This school is a specialist setting, providing educational subject lessons and work away from the school to encourage SEMH skills. Many of these students will go on to college, work or independent living and your role will be to help them get there. The school offers in depth training during the probation period, to upskill you in the role and prepare you for your 1:1 role. This training will be in one of the bases, free of charge but are nationally recognised. There will also be chances for you to work your way up in the role as well.
