Van driver warehouse operative

An unmissable opportunity has come up here at Driver Hire Southampton to join a well-established family run business which specialises in carpets and flooring accessories. This client is looking for a motivated and customer orientated individual to join them as a Warehouse Operative/ Driver. What you need to know: Temp to perm position Monday to Friday 7:30am start time (8-10-hour days) Complete deliveries of goods when required (driving a 3.5T van) Ensure all delivery notes are kept up to date Loading and unloading vehicles Helping customers with their orders in the store Check stock levels and ensure the right stock is ordered Report any damaged goods Ensure warehouse is kept tidy at all times Assist trade counter Vinyl cutting/ nose drilling (training provided)What we require from you: Full UK driving licence Own transport to commute to and from work is essential Previous experience in a customer service orientated role Confident when dealing with customers face to face Comply with the companies health and safety procedures Flexible and happy to help where required Great time keeping Happy with manual handling and heavy liftingBenefits of working with us here at Driver Hire Southampton: Weekly Pay PAYE- GBP11.50-GBP15.50 No weekends Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift Training provided by our clients Full time permanent position available after 12 weeks Generous referral scheme Dedicated team with 24/7 support givenHere at Driver Hire Southampton, we treat you as the true professional that you are and in our latest survey, 98% of our candidates said they were proud to work for us
