Electronics test engineer

Job Opportunity: Senior Electronics Test Engineer REED Engineering are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Test Engineer to join a growing Engineering department in a well-established contract electronics manufacturer This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-growing family business, supporting both large and SME businesses across the UK and Europe Working hours: 35 hours per week - 12pm finish on Friday Salary: GBP26,000-GBP35000 Key Responsibilities: Testing of PCBs with a variety of equipment, including ATE, DMMs Oscilloscopes Identifying PCB faults Comfortable with complex schematics In-depth Datasheet component knowledgeSpecific Knowledge May Include: Intermediate electronics theory Operating DMMs, Signal generators, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies Functional ATE Microcontroller functionality, including programming using various software hardware tools Communication protocols, such as RS232 I2CDesirable Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite Working independently with good time keeping Confidence when communicating with customers Comfortable with a soldering iron Methodical analytical approachThe benefits of your new role 25 days plus bank holiday Christmas shut-down Early finish FridayIf you think this role would be of interest to you, then please contact Chris Ray @ Reed Engineering with a copy of your CV and I will be in touch.
