General sales manager

Job Introduction We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join the management team at our CUPRA Dealership in Worcester. The hours of work are between 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday with a day off in the week, Saturdays from 9am to 5pm and working every other Sunday from 10am to 4pm on a rota basis. Benefits include the use of a premium company car and an OTE of GBP70,000. The successful individual will possess a positive, hands-on approach, exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a dynamic sales team. You will be expected to achieve both group and brand targets for new and used vehicles, within defined operating and financial guidelines. Role and Responsibilities You will build trust, communicate effectively and exceed our customer rsquo;s expectations; In essence you will ensure that our customers buying experience is industry leading. You will also be accountable for handling customer queries and complaints and ensure they are resolved effectively. To support the sales team in daily operations including but not limited to customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, professional vehicle preparation whilst ensuring that stock is kept to the company rsquo;s agreed levels. By driving the sales process and supporting the sales team in achieving their monthly KPI rsquo;s for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration and add-on products, to ensure budgetary sales / profit forecasts are achieved. Accurate completion of all paperwork and providing reports on all sales activities ensuring accurate sales forecasts. Making sure that the sales team accurately and vigorously collect all customer contact and vehicle data in order to maximise the quality and content of the customer database (adhering to the Company rsquo;s FCA obligations).About you You may be an existing sales manager, sales controller or retail manager looking for a new challenge or better career and reward opportunities. You will have the drive and talent to push the department forward; working to achieve agreed KPI rsquo;s and brand standards. You must be able demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. In addition, your need to have strong management and leadership skills, winning mentality, and a real passion for the brand.
