Hair and beauty tutor

Job Title: Hair and Beauty Tutor Location: Chatham Salary: GBP27,500 DOE Overview: The purpose of this role is to deliver Hair and Beauty training and coaching up to level 2 to apprentices with the aim of each learner successfully achieving timely Hair and Beauty award. You will be responsible for delivering quality, engaging and motivational 1-2-1 and group schemes of work to apprentices. To develop high quality schemes of work that deliver technical knowledge, whilst embedding soft skills through 1-1 and group work to learners/Apprentices. Key Responsibilities: To deliver the Hair and Beauty course following a blended learning SOW Design, plan and deliver the Hair and Beauty curriculum in line with the Education Inspection Framework (EIF), awarding body standards and curriculum guidance and quality standards. To deliver engaging remote classroom sessions and on the employer premises, as required To attend at least Standardisation meetings To be responsible for a caseload of Hair and Beauty learners from IAG to completion Co-ordinate learner exams in line with Company Procedure Essential/Desirable Criteria: Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent). Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Hairdressing subject/occupational area. Worked or still working within the relevant industry sector Ability to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines.
