Job Title: Exams and Achievement Manager Salary: GBP29.00 - GBP32.00 per hour Location: Welwyn Garden City / St Albans Contract: Interim position - ongoing Hours: Monday to Friday (37 hours) COMPANY PROFILE Our client based in St Albans are looking for an experienced Exams Manager to join their team on an immediate basis for an interim contract. The successful applicant will provide an effective examinations and achievement service to support the vision of our client. You will manage the organisation of all aspects of public exams and assessments including the liaison with awarding bodies and ensure completeness and accuracy of management information to maximise student success. SKILLS REQUIRED middot;Previous experience in a similar role middot;Proven experience and detailed understanding of exams processes middot;Health and safety qualification at management level middot;Evidence of continual improvement within an exams team middot;Ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels middot;Good knowledge of national qualifications and an understanding of curriculum issues RESPONSIBILITIES middot;Develop, lead and manage the exams and achievement team middot;Liaise with curriculum teams in respect of exam entries and arrangements middot;Ensure that claims received in Exams are submitted to awarding bodies in a timely fashion middot;Ensure that invigilators are trained properly middot;Effective management of exam bodies.
