Senior planner water

Senior Planner required for a major national contractor who pride themselves on the high skill level of their employees. They work across many sectors including highways, water, marine and flood defence . With a strong heritage they have a proven track record of successful complex project delivery. They are now looking for a high calibre Senior Planner to work on a major water project in Exeter. To ensure allocated tenders and projects are planned to meet milestones and cost targets. To attend tender and project meetings as required, leading on planning issues. To support the Project Managers, Project Delivery Lead and Commissioning Manager in development of programmes To maintain effective liaison between site operations and office planning activities, attending sites as and when required. To ensure a quality standard of schedule reporting and forecasting for individual projects for both Company and Client Management. To use effectively all software, techniques and equipment as assigned to individual proposals and projects. About you Practical demonstrable experience commensurate to the level of the role within the water/wastewater industry or construction sector. Proficient in the use of P6 with proven ability to import and export from the same, and experience of P6 coding. Proven experience with Microsoft Project, including imports and exports. Experience of working on NEC forms of contract. IT literate with an ability to use a wide range of IT packages including Microsoft Office
