Finance assistant

Finance Assistant Full Time, Permanent DE7, Ilkeston GBP26,000 - GBP28,000 per annum Our Client are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their Finance Team to assist in the delivery of the Organisation rsquo;s financial accounting. The ability to work co-operatively and efficiently by providing timely accurate reports and information as and when required. Requirements: * Facilitate the opening of new accounts as required. * Verify and process commission checks. * Review and rectify any discrepancies in partner commissions. * Assist in credit control activities. * Compile and import commission books. * Conduct data analysis tasks as required. * Support in the orientation of new team members on finance processes. * Process payments to partners related to BT commissions. * Address incoming calls and queries from partners regarding financial matters. * Facilitate the processing of payment runs for suppliers. * Manage and process expense reports. * Analyse and monitor the commercial viability of sales transactions. Skills: * Experience working in an accounts position. * Strong proficiency in Excel. * Qualification in accounting (e.g., AAT) would be advantageous but not essential
