Accounts administrator

DK Recruitment are working with a dynamic and growing organisation in Newton Abbot, seeking a motivated Accounts Administration Assistant to join our team. As a key player in our finance department, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements. Key Responsibilities: * Receiving and reviewing invoices for accuracy and completeness. * Obtaining necessary approvals and ensuring compliance with company policies. * Inputting invoice data accurately into the accounting system. * Resolving any discrepancies or issues with invoices in a timely manner. * Filing and maintaining financial records and documents. * Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. * Responding to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters. Requirements: * Proven experience in a similar accounts administration or finance support role. * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry * Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team. * A commitment to upholding confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
