Job Title: Senior Management Accountant - Fixed Assets Location: North West England, Lancashire, Blackburn Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Accounting Salary: GBP50000 - GBP57000 Per annum Benefits: Bonus Qualifications: ACCA, ACA, CIMA Job Duties: Month end postings Journal postings Ensuring accurate recording of assets Preaparing reports and providing insights into senior management Fixed Asset Register maintenance Calculating asset depreciation Balance sheet reconciliations Building new processes and assisting with building out the system around the fixed asset register Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate must possess a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA. They should have a strong understanding of fixed asset accounting principles and experience in managing fixed assets in a corporate setting. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting, with a focus on fixed assets. Previous experience in a senior accounting role is preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Thorough knowledge of fixed asset accounting standards and regulations. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting. Advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and analytical abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Finance or Accounting. Experience with asset management software. Working Conditions: Normal office hours, Monday to Friday
