Yard operator

Job Title: Yard Operator Location: Sunderland, UK Position Type: Full-time Experience: Previous experience in the chemical industry preferred but not essential. We are seeking a Yard Operator to join our team in Sunderland. This role involves handling hazardous chemicals and requires a forklift truck license, experience in the chemical industry, and the ability to work outdoors. Key Responsibilities: * Safely offload and load drums, IBC loads, and barrels containing hazardous chemicals. * Conduct sample testing of chemicals within drums, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. * Assist in month-end stock level checks and participate in stock takes. Requirements: * Forklift truck license. * Experience within the chemical industry is highly desirable. * Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
