Quality control inspector clerk of works

TSA Surveying are actively representing a consultant who are looking to appoint a technical and experienced individual to act as a Quality Control Inspector within their Quality Assurance team. Our client rsquo;s skilled interdisciplinary team offers a comprehensive range of construction consultancy services across a wide range of sectors: housing, education, health, care, blue light, commercial, and regeneration and mixed use. Ensuring quality is at the heart of our consultant rsquo;s strategy and organizational values. They have continuously evolved their Clerk of Works services but in recent years they have taken a renewed and innovative approach to Quality Control. Key Responsibilities of the role include: * Assessing and ensuring the quality of building materials through measurement and quality checks. * Monitoring project progress and providing reports to construction managers, architects, and clients. * Facilitating communication between contractors, engineers, and surveyors. * Compiling detailed written reports. * Conducting regular on-site inspections of work, materials, and products, comparing completed tasks with drawings and contract specifications. * Verifying compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, legal obligations, and ecological requirements.
