Senior project manager

Job Description This role reports to the Operations Director and is both office and site based as site rotation is necessary to support project requirements. In this position, you would liaise daily with the clients, Project Managers, QS, EHSQ and Design teams, and the Operations Manager. bull; Attend tender handover and project start up meetings. bull; Become familiar with all details and specifications of the contract. bull; Ensure the team understands their individual roles with regards to the project. bull; Create/Engineer Project Delivery and Commissioning Programmes. bull; Manage the RFI Process and lead final design. bull; Issue technical submittals and follow through to approval. bull; Ensure all large ticket items are procured and delivered in line with the program. bull; Manage budgets for assigned projects. bull; Work closely with the QS team - breakout labour only packages, breakout specialists rsquo; packages and all aspects of the cost plan/forecasts. bull; Set out and manage labour tracker. bull; Attend site weekly to monitor progress and quality. bull; Ensure the progress report is updated weekly and populate monthly high-level report for monthly Senior Mgt review. bull; Develop commissioning and close out plan for direct and subcontract works. bull; Evaluate Sub Contractors and Suppliers bull; Ensure O M Manuals are delivered complete and on time. bull; Record all possible R D works. bull; Attend monthly commercial meetings Qualifications bull; Trade or Engineering Background (Mechanical or Electrical) bull; Previous experience in Construction/Project Management bull; Proven experience in MS Project, MS Office Suite bull; Experience of managing project teams bull; Full driving license Additional Information Having an inclusive and flexible culture helps the business continue to grow as a strong, dynamic and innovative organisation. bull; Competitive salary bull; Professional Development support bull; Employee Assistance Program bull; Health and Wellness programs
