Quality inspector

Here at Impact we are recruiting for a Quality Inspector for one of our manufacturing clients based in Northampton that specialise in providing components to primarily the Aerospace, F1, Marine, Automotive and Gas Oil industries. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout our manufacturing processes. Salary: GBP29,000 - GBP32,000 (DoE) Location: Northampton Hours: Days Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments and gauges. Collaborate with production teams to address any quality concerns and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. Participate in the development and improvement of quality control procedures. Provide feedback and support to manufacturing teams to enhance product quality. Identify and report any non-conformities, and work towards continuous improvement initiatives. Operate and run both Romer Arm 3D Scanners programmable CMM machines.Requirements: Previous experience within a relevant engineering industry. Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments and gauges. Strong understanding of quality control processes and procedures. Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations. A good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerancing. Experience working with 3D scanners and CMM machines.
