Business development manager

Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Manager is required to join a manufacturer of machined components. Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for business development across the UK. Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Manager will ideally be located in the East Sussex area as they will be required to travel to the head office twice a week. Package GBP40,000 - GBP60,000 DOE Car allowance / Company car Excellent Commission Scheme 24 days holiday + bank holidays Generous pension scheme Role Identify new business opportunities across the UK Build and manage relationships with new and current clients Visit clients across the UK to discuss their requirements for product specifications whilst forming strong relationships Create strategies to know which clients / businesses you will be targeting and how you will achieve it Quoting and costing clients desired products Liaise with the internal / technical team where necessary Increasing sales process to develop growth within the company Requirements Experience working in a Business Development / Sales Engineer position / Technical Sales 3 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry or for an OEM (desirable) Full UK Driving Licence Willingness to travel to meet clients across the UK when necessary Located in the East Sussex area as you will be required to travel to the head office at least twice a week
