Surgical Ward Nurse Needed in private elective surgery hospital in Banbury. GBP28-46k NO VISA SPONSORSHIP WITH THIS JOB, unless you LIVE IN THE UK and are registered withthe NMC. Must be a UK resident You must be regsitered with the NMC with a PIN Number NOT a PRN Core responsibilities: bull; To act with the upmost professionalism and to adhere to the NMC code of conduct bull; Monitor and assist in the delivery of patient-centred care bull; Respect the patient rsquo;s dignity, privacy, wishes and beliefs bull; A lsquo;hands on rsquo; role within the nursing environment bull; Encourage, develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self bull; Promote best evidence-based practice bull; Apply and comply with legislation, policies and procedures What you will be doing: bull; Be involved in the daily handovers to communicate all aspects of care and needs bull; To demonstrate excellent communication skills within all nursing care bull; To assess and plan nursing daily care bull; Provide pre- and post-operation care bull; Monitor and administer medication and intravenous infusions bull; Take patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures bull; To supervise junior staff and tutor student nurses bull; Organise and prioritise workloads bull; Provide emotional support to patients and relatives bull; To efficiently and accurately complete all written documentation and record keeping bull; Be a role model to other staff on all departmental and hospital-wide matters bull; Ensure the working environment is as safe as possible and complies with company, professional, legal requirements and guidelines bull; Adhere to Infection Prevention Control policies and procedures bull; To work closely with the Procurement Department
