Group Maintenance Engineer Birmingham GBP45,000-GBP50,000K Full Time Are you a Group Maintenance Engineer seeking an exciting new opportunity to showcase your skills? My client is a leading manufacturing, distribution and installation business who is seeking a group maintenance engineer to join the team and oversee the functionality of the facilities at their new site in Birmingham. Role and Responsibilities: Provide technical support for installation and maintenance. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and enhance productivity. Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly. Conduct equipment upgrades as necessary. Stay updated with new technologies and processes. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Maintain comprehensive documentation for reference. Test and approve new equipment. Manage contractors and assist with equipment evaluations. Maintain critical spares and tools. Train staff and manage budgets. Generate reports and KPIs. Key Skills/Attributes: 7+ years #39; experience as a time-served electromechanical engineer. Must have 18th edition electrical qualification. Experience in the steel processing industry preferred. Strong electromechanical diagnostic skills. Proficiency in service and repair of various equipment. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexible to work out-of-hours as required. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Clean UK driving license and forklift license. IOSH or NEBOSH qualification preferable.
