SEN Teacher ndash; High Wycombe Role: SEN Teacher Location: High Wycombe Are you a SEN Teacher looking to be part of something that allows you to have an impact and the potential to help change lives? Supply Desk are looking for a SEN Teacher who has the motivation and dedication for helping students in a safe environment allowing them to improve their learning on a daily basis and has experience working with SEN pupils and know how to approach each pupil depending on the situation. We are looking for a someone with a real passion and dedication to helping those around them in a positive way. The role/ Responsibilities: You will be working with parents and carers to provide a good academic journey for the pupils with a positive experience and catering to the pupil rsquo;s needs To be adaptable in the classroom and be able to approach any situation at hand Build a good working relationship with classroom and pupils as well as the support staff. To be able to plan and also work with pupils 1:1 and give them the support they need through the challenges they face To implement various ways of teaching and various ways of planning lessons. This may involve writing or contributing to individual education plans To adopt and follow all school policies and to be aware of Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety legislation You will be jointly responsible for the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults in our care, it is a requirement of this role that you adhere to all relevant safeguarding policies and procedures. Ideal Candidate: Good knowledge of SEN teaching and passion to help develop the pupils learning NVQ in Childcare and education or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply) A teacher who rsquo;s is able to relate and follow the school rsquo;s ethos of working as a whole school team to ensure all the pupil #39;s academic and emotional needs are met.
