Catering assistant

Working for an award-winning logistics business who offer tailor-made, fast, reliable and cost-effective shipping solutions. You are required to work 30 hours per week on a three-on-three off rota system, covering days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays, alternating mornings and afternoons. 06:00 to 14:30 and 14:15 to 23:00 Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 14:30 and 14:15 to 22:00 Sundays General duties to include: * Welcoming customers and taking/serving orders with food and alcohol as appropriate * Maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere and promote the restaurant with excellent customer service * Managing the till float and cashing up * Ensuring that hygiene practices, processes and rules are followed at all times, including daily, weekly and deep cleaning schedules of the restaurant areas * Actively upselling products to offer customers choice and increase profitability * Assisting with the restaurant opening and closing procedures and practices * Ensure quality, uniformity and consistency are delivered to the customers Key Skills and Experience: * Diligent * Flexible * Good communicator * To work successfully as part of a team, but also able to use your own initiative * Attention to detail Salary and Benefits: * 22 days holiday plus bank holidays ndash; increasing annually by 1 day * Perkbox, (includes life insurance, and health assured wellbeing services) * Discretionary Christmas bonus Only suitable candidates will be directly contacted about this position, and we will not store or process the data of candidates in any way unless consent has been obtained
