Estimating Administrator We are an electrical contractor carrying out projects for some of the world #39;s leading retail and commercial enterprises. Based in the West Midlands and operating throughout the UK. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimating administrator to join our busy, friendly team. Key responsibilities Providing support to estimators for the tender return process Overseeing the estimating inbox and collating incoming enquires Saving printing initial tender documents and version control for subsequent issues Issuing tender enquiries to sub-contractors Logging sub-contractor pricing information Maintenance of the estimating tracker Preparation for meetings Managing meeting outcomes Communication with customers, suppliers, project managers and site staff Assist with drawing take-offs Composing letters spreadsheets Producing reports The skills / experience you will need: (estimating administrator) Previous experience in building services environment would be beneficial (especially electrical) Excellent communicator verbally and in writing Fantastic at time management, prioritising and meeting deadlines You need to love working under pressure and multi-taskingIT skills including: Intermediate Word (ability to produce reports with tables of contents, documents with tables and charts, mail merge) Intermediate Excel (ability to create spreadsheets from scratch, use the data functions to filter, sort, sub-total, validate, basic functions including if, sumif, count, vlookup) Adobe (ability to create, edit and comment on Adobe documents, convert to other formats, extract pages, redact and combine documents) Web tools (advanced knowledge of search engines, familiar with Dropbox for Business, experience with client portals for downloading / uploading of project documentation)
